Thanks to Greater St. Louis Restaurant Week's Sponsors

We couldn't do it without you!

Thanks to our Greater St. Louis Restaurant Week founding sponsors -- the Missouri Restaurant Association, Greater St. Louis Restaurant Association, DiscoverPepsi Co., and Mahoney Environmental, all in partnership with Operation Food Search.

Welcome These Tasty Additions to the Restaurant Week Menu

Two acclaimed restaurants and their pizza parlor companion in the Lafayette Square area have joined the roster of Greater St. Louis Restaurant Week dining options.

Vin de Set,  home of the most scenic terrace in St. Louis, and 1111 Mississippi will offer delicious fixed-price menus, October 12-21. If you've never been to these restaurants, this is a great opportunity to try a multi-course meal at a value price.  If you're already a regular patron, you know what awaits at both -- approachable, classic French at Vin de Set and wine country bistro fare at 1111 Mississippi.

PW Pizza is the place to go for fresh, seasonal ingredients atop your pie, along with salads, soups, desserts and craft beers.

Don't forget that you also "do good" while dining during GSLRW. Ten percent of your bill will be donated to Operation Backpack, an Operation Food Search program that helps underserved kids have healthy foods at home on weekends when they are away from school breakfast and lunch programs.

Save the Date for Dining

Greater St. Louis Restaurant Week Offers Fun, Fixed-Price Dining, October 12 – 21, 2012

WHAT:           Greater St. Louis Restaurant Week

WHEN:          October 12 – 21, 2012

WHERE:        Restaurants all across the St. Louis region

DETAILS:      More than 100 participating restaurants will offer fixed-price multi-course  menus at lunch and dinner during Greater St. Louis Restaurant Week to encourage residents and visitors to enjoy new dining experiences.  During past events, 76 percent of customers were first-time diners at participating restaurants.

BENEFIT:     Beyond the opportunity to try new restaurants at fixed prices, diners will be helping a worthwhile St. Louis charity during Greater St. Louis Restaurant Week.

Ten percent of the price of each fixed-price meal purchased during Greater St.Louis Restaurant Week will be donated to Operation Food Search’s OperationBackpack program.

Eighty-five percent of children enrolled in St. Louis public schools rely on free or reduced-cost meal programs. For those children, weekends are filled with hunger and despair, as they often go home to houses with little or no food.

Operation Backpack provides backpacks filled with nutritious, kid-friendly foods on Fridays to help children from disadvantaged circumstances supplement their weekend needs. Backpacks are returned on Mondays and re-filled for the following weekend.
